Pharmacology, in its own right, is a massive subject area and has been the focus of several major textbooks. The aim of this text is to provide a readable, introductory text which covers all of the main aspects of pharmacology, but in a way that enthuses the reader to study the subject further, rather than aiming to provide comprehensive, detailed coverage of the subject matter.
