Abstract
:
The specter of death had worked its spell to transform a bumbling young sorcerer into a cunning betrayer of his own people. And even as the sorcerer tricked the kings of Gryylth and Corrin into mounting an overseas invasion, Alouzon Dragonmaster -- once a twentieth-century teaching assistant at UCLA, now Guardian, perhaps even Goddess, of Gryylth -- was cast back to Los Angeles with the Specter's hounds in pursuit. As she sought to defeat the enemy which had followed her, she searched for a gateway back to the magic lands which had become her true home. Yet for the Dragonmaster and Gryylth, time was fast running out. For now the sorcerer sought to conquer his own spectral master, plummeting Gryylth into a final war which might well see all the land transformed into a smoking, napalm-bombed ruin.
