Liberties or, as it is becoming more commonly known, domestichuman rights. Since the first edition of this book, there has beena rapid acceleration of development of this field of law, whichhas become almost all-pervasive. There are many new statutesand cases which have been incorporated into the questions in thisedition, most notably the Human Rights Act 1998, which hasfinally incorporated the European Convention on Human Rightsand Fundamental Freedoms into domestic law. This is such asignificant change that it will affect every civil liberties andhuman rights course and so the new law and it.
