Arslan (cell biology and anatomy, Chicago Medical School) presents a textbook introducing the neuroanatomic mechanisms underlying neurologic diseases. Looking at the central and peripheral nervous systems, he discusses wiring patterns in neurons, molecular pathways within cells, and the ways in which their perturbations give rise to disease mechanisms.
