Abstract	:	Nigerian graduates are directly or indirectly affected by sound career decisions, choose fields of specialization for post graduate studies among others. The study examined the impact of entrepreneurial culture on career choice of university graduates residents in Kwara State. The study adopted simple random sampling to select 150 respondents from the graduates who were selected from the Youth Empowerment Scheme in Kwara State. The Data were analyzed with the aid of simple regression analysis and the result showed that R value of 0.722 and R2 is 0.787 which signified that parental orientation and societal value have effect on whether the school leavers are employed or self employed. It was recommended that educational institution should as a matter of practice obtain information relating to the parent of each student and uses it as a basis for career counseling. Fear factor and uncertainty regarding business failure should be entrenched in the curriculum; this enables people who want to start a new business to overcome fears to deal with the uncertainty of law enforcement, regulations, consumer behaviour as well as societal values; and educational institution should as a matter of practice obtain information relating to the parent of each student and use it as a basis for career counseling. Since parents influence the level of education that their children achieve in most cases; the knowledge they have about work and different occupations; the beliefs and attitudes they have to working; and the motivation they have to succeed in their chosen career.
