Abstract	:	In this research, we study spectral theory in ordered Banach algebras. Spectral theory in ordered Banach algebras has only been studied in the last two and half decades, and there are many questions that remain open in the theory. The purpose of this research is to survey some of the key properties and results, both old and new, of the spectral radius function in ordered Banach algebras.
