Abstract : The purpose of this study was to analyze the practices of innovative teaching adopted by elementary mathematics teachers in the Jazan District of Saudi Arabia. This researcher sought to learn about the various strategies that mathematics teachers apply while guiding their students in mathematics lessons, including the challenges that they face on a daily basis through a qualitative research design. Personal observations and opinions of these mathematics teachers regarding the concept of creative instructing in mathematics lessons and the input that the educational policymakers could make to improve the area were also sought through this study. The sample population was comprised of 40 mathematics teachers who apply creative teaching techniques in Jazan. Telephone interviews were used to collect data. The results show that elementary school mathematics educators in Jazan possess knowledge and awareness about how to instruct elementary school learners. The findings demonstrate the challenges associated with the Ministry of Education policy regarding students, schools, teachers, innovative teaching techniques in mathematics, and mathematics as a key subject. Additionally, the results offer insights regarding innovative practices that Saudi mathematics educators use in elementary schools by serving as an outline for developing mathematics teachers’ preparation and their professional progress in the practice of ingenious teaching. The study establishes that the teachers are currently adopting various innovative techniques to improve students’ skills in elementary mathematics classes.
