Abstract	:	Abū Ghānim Bishr b. Ghānim al-Khurāsānī (second half of the second/eighth century and the early decades of the third/ninth century) was a prominent Ibāḍī scholar and jurist from Khurāsān. Missionaries (ḥamalat al-ʿilm) dispatched by the Imām Abū ʿUbayda Muslim b. Abī Karīma at the beginning of the second/eighth century brought Ibāḍī doctrine to Khurāsān, where they succeeded in converting to Ibāḍism a number of scholars who preserved and propagated Ibāḍī doctrine.
