Abī l-Ḥasan al-Bakrī al-Ṣiddīqī al-Shāfiʿī al-Ashʿarī Sibṭ Āl al-Ḥasan (b. 13 Dhū l-Ḥijja 930/12 October 1524, d. 14 Ṣafar 994/4 February 1586) was a leading religious scholar in Ottoman Cairo who was most famous for his mystical poetry. The son of the well-known Ṣūfī and jurist Abū l-Ḥasan al-Bakrī (d. 952/1545), he was a child prodigy who went on to have an even more illustrious career than his father.
