Fatma Nezihe Araz (1920–2009) was a Turkish journalist, playwright, and poet. She was the daughter of banker and Member of Parliament Rifat (Rifʿat) Araz (1878–1964), who belonged to the inner circle of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk (1881–1938). She graduated in philosophy in 1946 from Ankara Üniversitesi Dil ve Tarih-Coğrafya Fakültesi Psikoloji ve Felsefe Bölümü (Ankara University Faculty of Languages, History, and Geography, Department of Psychology and Philosophy), after which she worked as a journalist for a number of newspapers and periodicals.
