Abstract	:	Arghūn b. Abāqā (660–90/1262–91) was the fourth ruler of the Īlkhānid dynasty in Iran. We first learn of him when he is named titular governor of Khurāsān and Māzandarān by his father, Abāqā (r. 663–80/1265–81), and chronicles refer to his sporadic campaigns in Sīstān and western Afghanistan.
