Abstract	:	Nevizade Atai (Nevʿīzāde ʿAṭāʾī, 991–1045/1583–1635), or Ataullah b. Yahya b. Pir Ali b. Nasuh (ʿAṭāʾ Allāh b. Yaḥyā b. Pīr ʿAlī b. Naṣūḥ), was an eminent Ottoman poet and writer of the seventeenth century, who carried on Taşköprüzade’s (Ṭaşköprüzāde’s) work of compiling biographies of the Ottoman ulema (ʿulemāʾ) and Sufis (Ṣūfīs).
