Abstract	:	Fatehpur Sikri (Pers., Fatḥpūr Sīkrī) is a town in Uttar Pradesh, India, thirty-seven kilometres from the city of Agra. Situated at latitude N 27.091°, longitude E 77.661°, the area receives little rainfall and is near the desert of present-day Rajasthan.
