Abstract	:	Hasaitic (Ḥasaitic, Ḥasāʾitic) is the adjective conventionally used to describe a small group of closely related inscriptions, and the language they represent, found in the region of al-Ḥasā on the northeast coast of present day Saudi Arabia. Most of these inscriptions were found in the Thāj oasis, around a dozen more were discovered in the al-Qaṭīf–ʿAyn Jawān region, and the remotest one was unearthed at the ancient site of Uruk in southern ʿIrāq.
