Parvīn Iʿtiṣāmī (b. 1907 in Tabriz, d. 1941 in Tehran) was an Iranian poet, whose dīvān (collection of poetry) is one of the most frequently reprinted of contemporary Persian poets. She was five years old when her family moved from Tabriz to Tehran. She learnt Persian and Arabic from her father, Yūsuf Iʿtisāmī (Iʿtisām al-Mulk, d. 1938), a renowned intellectual.
