Abstract	:	Malaysia is a religiously and ethnically diverse Muslim-majority country in Southeast Asia, separated by the sea into West (Peninsular) Malaysia and East Malaysia on the island of Borneo. Malaysia is a federation of thirteen states (negeri) and the Federal Territories (Wilayah Persekutuan), the latter comprising the capital Kuala Lumpur, the administrative capital Putrajaya, and the island of Labuan.
