Abstract	:	ʿAlī Qulī Khān (c. 1756–1824), son of Muḥammad Ḥasan Khān Qājār Qoyunlū (1715–59), was the non-uterine brother of Āghā Muḥammad Khān (1742–97), the founder of the Qājār dynasty. According to the chronicler Sipihr (1:26–7), he was the ninth and last son of Muḥammad Ḥasan Khān, a position probably connected with the rank of his non-Qājār mother rather than with his age.
