Abstract	:	The author takes a critical look at the results of the Methodist–Catholic international dialogue from a Roman Catholic point of view. His approach is to examine the methodology used at the different stages of the dialogue. He then considers two positive developments of the dialogue by looking at the theology of the Holy Spirit that evolves and then leads to a theology of the Church. The pneumatological and ecclesiological dimensions are evaluated to be the strongest results of these dialogues.
