Abstract

|
Early 2008, the Committee of the Global Christian Forum approached the Centre for Intercultural Theology, Interreligious Dialogue, Missiology and Ecumenics (Centrum iimo) of the Utrecht University with a proposal to evaluate the activities of the Global Christian Forum (gcf). The idea to organize an evaluation was prompted by the Global Forum meeting in Limuru (6-9 November 2007). The Centrum iimo asked the authors of this article, Huub Vogelaar ma and Dr. Greetje Witte-Rang, both Reformed theologians, to conduct this evaluation. In this article they give an overview of the history, purpose and aim of the gcf, and share the results of their evaluation. The article concludes with some remarks concerning the future of the gcf.
