Abstract	:	This paper gives the results of different surveys undertaken in the Dutch speaking part of Belgium between 1970 and 1987. The main aim of the research was to study the God representation of adolescents between the ages of 12 and 18. Data on religious practice and belief are also presented. The question raised is whether we can speak of an evolution of the God representation or only of changes therein. It seems that the age of 15 is of crucial importance in a possible religious development.
