Abstract	:	This clinical dissertation focuses on the important topic of domestic violence in Middle Eastern countries, especially in Iran. It addresses the gap in literature reviews, the lack of accurate and modern data, the recommended and culturally adopted domestic violence interventions and approaches, recommendations regarding clinical services available to this population. This dissertation will help to fill some of the gaps regarding domestic violence in collectivist cultures. This dissertation includes a description of the findings in current literature, including interviews conducted with several Middle Eastern clinicians familiar with the domestic violence issue in these countries. It addresses the provision of clinical services available to clients of Iranian descent and background in the United States. The results of the literature review and the field consultation interviews were presented in an oral and visual manner, delivered to an audience comprised of mental health professionals who concentrate in domestic violence survival. Presentation generated feedback that enhanced the professionals’ familiarity with the population, as well as created a feeling of cultural consideration that may be reflected in treatment.
