This work is a sort of an academic adventure within the form and content of modern literature which comprises: introduction, preface, Six chapters and conclusion; each of the chapters is subdivided into sections. The first chapter contains an introduction which encompasses brief statement in connection with the research topic, its importance, hypotheses, framework, objectives, methods, literature review, basic references and structure. Chapter two contains a theoretical Study of Psychoanalysis, while Chapter three discusses the concept of Psychoanalysis in Nigerian Arabic Literature, and chapter four discusses the poet’s biography; his birth, social life, educational background, civilization, his literary activities, as well as thematic pre-occupation. Chapter five analyses its general features and characteristics in his poems. While the conclusion contains the most important findings of the research follows by some recommendations and references. The research work aims at the aesthetic features of the Art of “Psychoanalysis” in the poems of Alkali Umar Ibrahim; his Classical styles and the new Trends that he introduced in the Nigerian Arabic Literature Scene, with regards to the term “Psychoanalysis”. In conclusion, Alkali Umar Ibrahim proves himself to be one of the modern literary figures with outstanding compositions in the Arabic Poetry in this country especially in the scene of “Psychoanalysis”
