Abstract	:	Fashion exhibition design and practices have steadily changed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art since The Costume Institute became a curatorial department in 1959. Looking back through snapshots of installation photographs it is clear to see that each exhibition reflects something different – or something similar - in aspects of mannequin type, styling, and placement. Yet it is not until 2006 that we see something extraordinary occur in the styling of wigs by Julien d’Ys for the exhibition AngloMania: Tradition and Transgression in British Fashion.
