Abstract	:	The objective of this paper was to research and analyze the history of sheer fashion from 1900-1970 within the context of the Western world. No other study up until this paper has looked at the history of fashion through the lens of transparent dress. I examine the most boundary pushing designs in regards to sheer materials and exposure of the female form by focusing on the works of key designers and events within each time period.
