Abstract	:	This thesis proposes a Eucharistic theology founded upon the systematic theological concept of "deep incarnation" as proposed by Niels Gregersen and developed by him and others. It outlines how this concept developed and draws out two themes from it: the idea of a "deep paschal mystery" and "communion with creation." It applies these themes to the Eucharist, wherein our participation in the Eucharist enables our participation in Christ's paschal mystery and our intensified communion with all creation. The implications of these are taken up, most notably this liturgical theology's role in developing a Christian ecological consciousness.
