Abstract	:	This research examines the literature on terrorism, ranging from historical documentary, definitional issues to various attitudes, perceptions, and perspectives. It includes excerpts taken from a personal interview of Shaykh Muhammed Husayn Fadlallah. In addition to a review of empirical literature, the research contains survey data taken from eight hundred twenty students on the University of Texas at Arlington campus. The survey examines students' attitudes about terrorism. One hypothesis tested pertains to the relationship between ethnicity/religion and attitudes about the United States policy. Findings reveal variation in attitudes about U.S. policy, based upon ethnicity and religion.
