Abstract	:	In this thesis, a novel Quasi-Newton Least-Mean Fourth (QNLMF) adaptive filtering algorithm is analyzed. The main aim of this research is to derive the QNLMF adaptive algorithm and assess its performance in different noise environments. More specifically, both the convergence analysis and the steady-state performance analysis were derived. Finally, a number of simulation results were carried out to corroborate the theoretical findings.
