Abstract:This report argues that the nature and importance of organisational structures of foreign aided construction and infrastructure projects, and their underpinning de sign principles are not well understood and yet they play a key role in organisational and project performance. This study investigates the extent to which the organisational structure of foreign aided construction and infrastructure projects contributes to improvements in various measures of aid projects process and performance. The existing organisational structure of foreign aided projects could be an important impediment to the maximization of goal achievement in various performance areas. The study, therefore, investigates and evaluates the nature and extent of the relationship between organisational structure, process and performance in foreign aided construction projects in Pakistan.
