Abstract	:	Many of the various events and stories that have occurred in the past are often not represented in the environment. In trying to create a remembrance for a specific event or history, certain stories and perspectives get left out, at times creating a false impression of what once occurred. Ways of representing various histories were researched. Different ways of marking the events of the assassination of President McKinley were considered, focusing on three specific sites—one specifically relating to McKinley, one to the assassin Czolgosz, and one relating to both of them. Different proposals were created. The three detailed proposals were not considered to be conclusive in the sense that they were the definitive answer on how to represent that particular history, but rather as three explorations of the nearly endless number of alternative possibilities.
