This book has been written for textile experts, researchers, students, and PhD students in the field who work on the control and optimization of textile processes and the quality of the manufactured products. The book presents a review of the methods for experiment design and for deriving and optimization of mathematical models. The individual models are illustrated by numerical examples, which allow for easier comprehension and implementation of the methods in practice.
