Groundbreaking information is presented on the significant impairments produced by the disorder across key functional domains and life activities, including education, occupational functioning, relationships, parenting, driving, criminality, and health behaviors. The authors explore the extent to which ADHD increases the risk of substance abuse and other co-occurring mental health conditions, as well as the influence on children's psychological adjustment of having a parent with ADHD.
