Muḥammad ʿAbd al-Hādī Abū Rīda (1909–91) was an Egyptian diplomat, professor of Islamic philosophy, and promulgator of the view and methods of early twentieth-century German orientalism; he also produced critical editions of Muslim classics. He was born in al-ʿArīsh (Sinai, Egypt), attended kuttāb and state schools, and graduated in philosophy from the Egyptian University (now Cairo University) in 1934.
