Gestational Trophoblastic Disease is a comprehensive survey by leading clinicians, pathologists, and basic scientists on the most significant developments in diagnosis and treatment of malignant trophoblastic disease ("molar pregnancy"). The book emphasizes partial and complete hydatidiform mole; invasive mole; choriocarcinoma; diagnostic applications of both ultrasonography and laboratory measurement of human chorionic gonadotropin; and chemotherapeutic modalities.
