This book offers the first systematic and meticulous description of the atrioventricular conduction tissues as they relate to the margins of septal defects in various types of congenital heart malformations. The authors do not give an encyclopedic review, but rather focus on those malformations amenable to surgical correction and in which a truly profound knowledge of surgical anatomy of the atrioventricular conduction is mandatory.
