Abstract : Low oil recovery obtained from tight formations is mainly due to small-size pores and throats restricting fluid flow. The developed HNAF assisted by electrokinetics aims to improve oil recovery by significantly stimulating the target tight formation and thus, creating new flow channels for fluids which can reduce the high injection pressure requirements.
