Abstract : Oil and gas industry is suffering from the problem of scale deposition. It causes many problems in the oil fields as it affects the well production and performance. It can reduce the effectiveness of the equipment and the pipelines. Some applications have been introduced to detect the scale deposition and prevent its occurrence, thus saving the equipment from damage. Most of these techniques were not very effective.
