Abstract	:	The problem of scale deposition has attracted a lot of attention recently. It causes many complications in the oil field and it may affect the overall well performance. If not detected and treated, it can reduce the life span of some equipment and pipelines, and in some severe cases it can be the reason to abandon the well. Until now, there have been no final products that allow the user to detect and monitor early stages of scaling.
