The following study is conducted by personnel from the University of South Alabama and sponsored by the Government of Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates (U.A.E). The purpose of this study is to determine the satisfaction of UAE drivers with respect to congestion, traffic safety, construction zones, maintenance, and driver education programs. To do so, survey questionnaires were specially designed for the drivers in the UAE to examine the self-reported driving behaviors of a sample of Emirati drivers. The survey has been posted on the Road & Transport Authority (RTA) website and their social media pages such as Facebook and Twitter for the participants who agreed to participate in this study. The survey questionnaires were also sent to a group of people through a website known as QuestionPro. The 1325 respondents answered twenty-nine survey questionnaires directly related to their experience and gave their opinions on issues they may face on the UAE roadway. The results and data analyses in chapter fuour summarize the participant feedbacks
