Abstract : The thesis presents one of the most complex water conflicts in the world, explaining it from three main dimensions; politically, geographically and legally. The conflict between Israel and its neighbors has been going through different stages and fluctuations ranging from high intensity war, to coercive cooperation. Through all these stages, the conflict is not close to being resolved. Israel as a hydro-hegemon is still seeking for the control of water resources in the Levant. This makes for the potentiality of future escalation of the conflict that may include extreme military actions.
