Abstract	:	This is a proposal to encode the Rejang in the international character encoding standard Unicode. The script was published in Unicode Standard version 5.1 in March 2008. Rejang is used to write the Rejang language on Sumatra in Indonesia. The script was used before Islam was introduced to the Rejang area. It is first attested about the mid-18c CE.
