Abstract	:	Introduction: Lemierre syndrome is a rare, potentially fatal, septic thrombophlebitis of the internal jugular vein. Treatment includes intravenous antibiotics for Fusobacterium necrophorum, the most common pathogen, as well as consideration for anticoagulation therapy.
