Abstract
:
"This book features analyses of a single substantive topic, comparative employment performance in affluent countries, using three of the most common macrocomparative techniques: pooled cross-section time-series regression, qualitative comparative analysis (QCA), and small-N analysis. The chapters assess the strengths and weaknesses of these three approaches. They also examine important questions of causal inference, such as selection bias. Contributors include prominent methodologists and comparative researchers from political science and sociology."--BOOK JACKET.
